Other
I take a collaborative and affirming approach toward therapy and will honor your position as an expert in your own lived experiences.
In a world that demands oppressed people remain quiet, small, and inoffensive, I believe recovery and joy are radical acts of resistance. I chose to become a therapist because I wanted to offer others the same affirming and empowering support I have received in the past when I needed it the most. I’m passionate about serving communities that have been let down, marginalized, and abused by wider society, particularly those that have held me up throughout my life, including the queer, trans and non-binary, disabled, neurodivergent, fat, non-monogamous, and BDSM-kink-fetish communities. I especially love working with couples and teens. In therapy with me, you can trust that I will hold both your pain and your victories with the reverence and care they deserve. I will take a collaborative, warm, and affirming approach towards our work together, and will honor your position as an expert in your own lived experiences. I am a Marriage and Family Therapy and Sex Therapy student at UW-Stout and work under the supervision of Coltan Schoenike, MS, LMFT.
