Marni L. Jacob, Ph.D., ABPP

Dr. Jacob is a strong proponent of evidence-based treatment and academic research. She provides Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including use of Exposure Therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), and and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) in the treatment of her patients. Dr. Jacob is also trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), which is a parent-based program for children and adolescents with OCD, anxiety, and related problems. She is also the author of a comprehensive workbook for children and teens with OCD, "What to Do When You Have a Tricky, Sticky, Picky Brain: Cognitive Behavioral Strategies for Kids with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder." Dr. Jacob has a warm, compassionate interpersonal style, yet she is also results-oriented to facilitate progress towards treatment goals.
