Marissa Ellis
(She/Her/Hers)
Pre-Licensed Professional, Psychotherapist
I provide a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment by meeting my clients where they are at. Reach out to me to see if we may be a good fit.
Life's unpredictability and challenges can lead to uncertainty, fear, and stress. Many clients who seek my psychotherapy services experience stress, anxiety, or depression, often stemming from life transitions, grief, or struggles with interpersonal relationships and self-identity. Whether they are new to therapy or have tried it before, clients may feel apprehensive about continuing their healing journey. In our sessions, clients find a welcoming, supportive, and comfortable environment where they feel understood and heard. I provide psychotherapy to adults and utilize a strength-based, relational approach in therapy. I have over 6 years of experience in treating mental health issues, such as stress, anxiety, and homesickness with college students, veteran struggles, relationship/family challenges, etc. I utilize humor which helps instill positivity, confidence, and hope. I provide a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment by meeting my clients where they are at. I believe building rapport and trust with my clients is imperative to the therapeutic work, relationship, and achieving set goals in therapy. Reach out to me to see if we may be a good fit to work together.
