Being an art therapist and mental health counselor, I believe creativity to be a dynamic visual language and not merely an outcome-oriented process. I consider art to be an intuitive universal language that does not require an individual to be an artist to express creatively. Therefore, I utilize an eclectic approach of integrating the verbal and nonverbal creative therapeutic approaches in counseling. I welcome adult clients seeking traditional therapy, Art therapy, AIR Network and EMDR and collaborate with each individual that I work with to create a safe and authentic relationship. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where my clients can explore and deepen their experiences, meaning, and connection in life while meeting them where they are to provide individualized and group counseling services.
