Lucy Jackson

I bring you more than 20 years of experience in the human service field, including 15 years of experience in recovery-oriented community-based mental health settings. Because of this experience, I bring strong strengths-based, person-centered, and recovery-oriented approaches to the care I provide. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin—Madison (2006). I started my supervised clinical practice in 2015 and earned my Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW) in 2019. I also started training in contemporary Gestalt Therapy in 2019, and I continue to work toward certification in that modality. Gestalt theory is at the core of the care I provide. This means I believe healing happens in relationship and dialogue, in exploring the environment surrounding your questions or concerns, and in honoring your experience of yourself throughout the process. I will invite you to experiential and mindful techniques to augment growing awareness. I have training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), supportive problem solving, complex case management, crisis intervention, and other approaches.
