(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Learn how to cope with and tolerate anxiety, life challenges, or struggles with OCD. I look forward to meeting you!
How are you doing right now? Perhaps repetitive thoughts or time sucking rituals are ruining important aspects of your life. Maybe self-doubt, rumination and low confidence are getting in the way of making meaningful connections with people. Obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety or painful life events can create unhelpful patterns in our lives and can sabotage our relationship with ourselves and others. You want to feel better, you want relief and you want connection with others. What if you could experience less anxiety, feel more confident, and be able to approach your day with more surplus? In therapy it is important to identify your strengths, be compassionate toward your experience, and collaborate to make a plan that will work for you. Self-compassion can help you learn how to support yourself and clarifying your values are methods clients find helpful. You can make meaningful changes and I welcome any questions you have. Cultural humility, inclusivity and openness to your unique lived experiences are of great importance in my approach with you. Give me a call or schedule online at www.genuineselftherapy.com. I look forward to seeing you for in-person or virtual sessions.
