Lisa Kubie

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner who relocated to Arizona to be closer to my family. I joined the clinical team at Arcadia Counseling Center to provide prescribing services to clients. Previously, I worked in hospitals, clinics and school-based settings. I love my work in that I feel that each person has a unique personal history. We all encounter obstacles in our life and with assistance of therapy (and medications if necessary), a person can develop the tools they need to address these difficulties and are rewarded with new insight. I like to tell clients that they receive "two in one" assistance as I incorporate my strongly held nursing philosophy of treatment alongside my strong medical background. As a prescriber, I closely listen to the client's needs and with my comprehensive psychopharmacology knowledge, we both discuss whether to incorporate medications with their therapy.
