Occupational Therapist
The best of mental healthcare in one place. At Geode, we combine full-spectrum psychiatry and talk therapy to better meet changing patient needs.
Since 2022, I have been providing mental health services in outpatient and in-home settings, specializing in supporting individuals, groups, and families facing a range of challenges, including adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and relationship difficulties. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, sensitive, and practical, emphasizing mutual respect and the importance of meeting clients where they are in their journey. I believe that the counseling process begins by creating shared goals that reflect each person’s vision for their life and unique story. By adopting a client-centered approach, I aim to empower individuals and families with the autonomy and support they need to express their life narratives. I am committed to fostering a safe, compassionate, and validating environment that encourages growth, acceptance, and change. In my practice, I incorporate clients' interests—such as art, music, crafts, and physical activities—as coping strategies to enhance the therapeutic experience. I utilize various therapeutic modalities, including play therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients explore how their experiences shape their lives. I have a passion for working with individuals aged 5 and older, particularly in addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, social challenges, major life transitions, and the unique pressures faced by student athletes. I hold a deep respect for the therapeutic relationship and am dedicated to helping clients move towards healthier lives and relationships. I look forward to honoring each individual’s story as we embark on this journey of restoration and healing together. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy being a dog mom, hiking, kayaking, baking, and spending quality time with my family.
