Kristine Hughes
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I am deeply committed to creating an affirming space for all individuals and aim to create a space where you feel truly valued, heard and seen.
Hello beautiful soul. Congratulations on taking a step towards growth and healing. Let me introduce myself. My name is Kristine, and I have 12+ years experience providing therapy in a variety of settings and have specialized training in expressive therapies. I work with children, adolescents, adults, parents & children, siblings, senior clients, LGBTQIA+, and those with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). Some of my focus areas include anxiety, panic, depression, gender identity, behavioral concerns, grief, self-esteem, self-harming, adoption, foster care, abuse, neglect, trauma, parent-child concerns and stress. I believe that the therapy session is a sacred space, and I offer a variety of options for direction based on what you bring to each session. Whether it's through conversation, art, silence, music, sand, play, movement, or other methods, my goal is to provide you with a therapy experience that is truly unique to you. Prioritizing yourself and starting therapy serves as a stepping stone towards growth. You deserve peace, joy, and abundance, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you as you embark on this journey.
