Keona Johnson
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
My primary goal is to be an empathic ear and sounding board while creating a safe, exploratory, and judgment free zone.
Feeling stuck, sad, lost, drained, confused, or repeating the same behavior patterns that get you nowhere and want things to change? Let’s be honest, sometimes life can be great and sometimes life can really suck! Dealing with day-to-day struggles or past hurts is emotionally taxing and prevents us from being the person we want to be and live the life we want to live. The good news is you don’t have to navigate life’s complexities alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings suffering from depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, adjustment and relationship issues, past trauma, etc. In my therapeutic approach, we will work in partnership to resolve your specific concerns impacting your daily functioning and relationship with others and self. I use a client-centered approach with a blend of evidence-based techniques such CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and DBT to assist in meeting your practical goals to lead to a more manageable and fulfilling life you can find enjoyment in.
