Kayla Harmon
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I use my lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent person to create my intersectional, person-centered approach to therapy.
Is just being perceived exhausting lately? Do you feel like emotions control you instead of you controlling them or feel like life feels heavier than it's supposed to? I'm here to help. My work is focused on being neuroaffirmative, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, trauma-informed, and culturally competent for all. Life can be unpredictable, things don't go as planned, or it feels like our brain is fighting against us, but I'm glad you're here. It's okay to feel like you need to be heard, have someone to talk things through with, celebrate the little wins in life, and hold you accountable to the goals you want to succeed in. I specialize in trauma-informed care for adolescents and adults diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, ADHD, and autism. I am looking forward to meeting with clients who have difficulty understanding and expressing their emotions, those who tend to prioritize others' needs over their own ("people-pleasing"), and those on a journey to discover their authentic selves.
