Kawena Seagle
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I specialize in trauma and anxiety and use a variety of approaches to help you find resolution to your concerns.
Helping clients find healing and lasting change is my passion. My counseling approach is empathic, understanding, and non-judgmental. I offer a supportive environment and I focus on helping you incorporate the tools needed to make positive changes. My goal is to help you live the life you desire. I specialize in trauma healing, but I am also able to help with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, codependence, and more. My training background includes both trauma healing and cognitive approaches; including Somatic Experiencing, IFS, EMDR, Brainspotting, ACT, DBT, and having previously worked at The Meadows, I also implement Pia Mellody's PIT model for codependce and trauma healing. My approach is eclectic and is individualized to meet the needs of each unique client. Life’s difficulties often bring us feelings of disconnection, anxiety, and depression and when we feel this way it is hard to have hope things will be different. The process of therapy can feel intimidating and overwhelming, making it difficult to take those first steps. Know that I am here to help you reach your goals.
