I will create and hold a safe space for you to explore, learn, and make positive changes in your life.

All humans strive for connection. We are social creatures with an inherent drive to bond. For me, counseling is about the therapeutic relationship. With a humanistic and holistic perspective, I view each client as a whole person within their own unique context. Empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness are the cornerstones of my practice. Also, humor is vital to healing, so there is always room for laughter in our sessions. Using mindfulness techniques, I can show you how to be present and increase compassion for yourself and others. I can also give you the tools to empower yourself. Together, we will look at the bigger picture and develop a framework for your healing process. We will collaborate to define success on your terms along your journey to self-acceptance. I believe that everyone has the power to change and grow. It’s just a matter of trusting your own instincts and accepting all parts of yourself. We will work together to discover your strengths, which you may not realize even exist! This work isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it.
