(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Work (LSCSW)
I'm here to provide a non-judgmental and caring space wherein you, your child, or your teenager can sort out your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and values.
Hello! I’m excited to meet you! Before joining FPS, I worked for almost a decade as a special education school social worker, working with children of all ages and abilities, most recently with secondary school students. I’ve also served on autism diagnostic teams, support teams for at-risk students, and various student improvement teams. I genuinely enjoy helping my clients using a humanistic, strengths-based, and biologically informed approach. My main therapeutic influences come from polyvagal and neurosequential theories. I use cognitive behavioral and supportive techniques to encourage change through self-motivation and insight. You, as the client, are the expert on your own life, and I, as your therapist, am a resource and a guide. The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives, so the relationship with ourselves is the most important. I’m well-versed in developmental theories and enjoy incorporating play and art techniques into the therapeutic framework to help clients process trauma and find peace. Currently, my practice focuses on ADHD, ASD, and gifted populations, as well as those in the LGBTQIA+ community.
