Jeri Perkins

Jeri’s approach empower’s clients to access self-determination to achieve their goals. She practices a client-centered approach with an emphasis on intergenerational trauma and intersectionality of identity. She specializes in navigating power dynamics, conflict resolution, and racial trauma in academic and workplace settings. She practices motivational interviewing, CBT, narrative, and strengths-based therapeutic modalities. She encourages clients to value the “power of personal narratives, the story they tell themselves about themselves.” Her unique approach encourages clients to access resources to enhance quality of life outcomes.
