Jennifer (Jenny) Smith
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Sessions are infused with somatic experiencing and rooted in a deep knowing that our bodies, minds, and intuition hold the path to healing and liberation.
Jenny Smith (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Wisconsin. She has nearly 15 years of professional experience across many settings such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, and within residential Eco based therapy. Jenny treats complex and developmental trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, self-exploration, self-empowerment, stress management, burn out, and parenting skills. Special areas of focus for Jenny are perinatal health, postpartum healing, making peace with your pregnancy and birthing journey, and fostering embodied attachment. I am a body-based therapist and trained in Somatic Experiencing. Sessions are infused with experiential practices to integrate mind, body, and soul connection. My therapeutic practice is rooted in Poly-vagal Theory application, inviting a deep dive into tracking nervous system patterns. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a therapy that helps individuals heal from the symptoms of emotional distress caused by disturbing life experiences. Together, we will notice what wounds are undiscovered or standing in your way of healing.
