Jennifer Shedd, MA, AMFT, APCC, CSAC specializes in working with adults and couples using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. She trained in and practiced cultivating compassion as part of the Cultivating Compassion Training, (CTC), at the Stanford Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science. This training emphasizes the role of compassion and mindfulness in fostering resilience, enhancing emotional intelligence, and building stronger connections in personal and professional relationships. In recognition for her dedication to public service and mental health advocacy, Jen was honored by the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, (ISTSS), for outstanding advocacy and service. This distinction reflects her commitment to addressing the impact of trauma and promoting healing within individuals and communities. Jen specializes in addressing issues such as relationship dynamics, communication challenges, life transitions, and the effects of trauma.
