Jennifer Mayeda

My name is Jenn Mayeda and I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am licensed in Oregon and Washington. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Portland State University. My experience as a therapist comes from working for many years in community mental health with a wide range of clients. I have worked with children, families, teens, and adults in various programs. I also have experience doing crisis outreach at hospitals and answering calls on the crisis line and working on a specialized domestic violence team where we worked with a local DV agency to provide therapy and support to DV survivors and families impacted by domestic violence. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles they are experiencing by using a variety of treatment techniques depending on the needs of each individual. I especially enjoy working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma and life stressors.
