Jean A. (Jean) Rhea
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Jean’s specialties are to meet people where they are, with a focus on trauma, addiction, including complex PTSD.
As an experienced, Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family therapist, I have a deep appreciation for meeting those I'm privileged to work with, where they are, regarding some of life's more challenging issues. I've developed a rapid recovery process to provide support, relief and recovery from addiction and trauma. I approach your relationship with alcohol, drugs or medications in a non-judgmental, respectful & collaborative way that is different than other more traditional treatment approaches. I also am experienced in culturally-responsive therapy, welcoming POC and LGBTQIA adults. I also welcome couples and families who are seeking support for substance use issues that effect the entire family and focus on couples in their chosen relationship style, including traditional, non-traditional and polyamorous lifestyles and choices. My experience and focus includes ketamine integrative therapy using Psychosynthesis. Other Therapies: trauma-informed therapy, harm reduction, CBT/DBT, Psychosynthesis, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, culturally-responsive therapy, and mindfulness based therapy.
