Jakob Gelleri
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
I primarily work with young adults and adults facing challenges with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain.
I believe in a strengths-based approach to counseling in which growth comes from a person's own values, goals, and desire to implement impactful changes in their lives. Through identity exploration and development, values building, skills development and symptom reduction, my goal is to lend support to an individual's growing sense of competence, confidence, and empowerment. I place a high emphasis on adapting evidence-based interventions to meet the needs of clients. Finding the right fit for one's therapeutic needs can be an intimidating process, especially if it is one's first time or have had negative experiences in the past. I offer a free 15-20 minute phone consultation so folks can assess whether I might be the right fit for them and would like to work together.
