Hello, my name is Gena Langit. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor, with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’m excited to be a therapist at Mind and Soul Counseling Services and look forward to helping others through personal life challenges. My primary approach is to provide support and counseling through an integrated approach with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) through a trauma lens and Solution Focused Therapy. I have specialized training in EMDR and interest in working with trauma providing EMDR therapy as a helping aid. I believe each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. Through my work I hope to foster a safe space where you can tell your story and gain greater insight into how it has impacted you and create a new reality that is most beneficial and fulfilling. I wholeheartedly believe in the client therapist relationship and strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental, genuine, and collaborative environment for each one of my clients. I am here to help you work through anxiety, depression, grief, transition of life changes, life stressors and more. I look forward to providing a positive collaborative environment in which to help you tackle your individualized goals, objectives, to find long-term solutions.
