Gabriella Ansah
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
My goal is to help you draft and refine the narrative of your life, identify core values, and look for ways to strengthen your sense of self.
How exciting that you’ve started this journey! My name is Gabriella Ansah, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. The aim of my work is to help you draft and refine the narrative of your life, identify core values and beliefs, and look for ways to apply those values to strengthen your sense of self. Some of these narratives may include experiences of depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues. As a therapist, I employ warmth, humor, and softness to create a space where you can identify and bring down the barriers keeping you from who you want to be. As a social worker, I wish to meet you where you are, then walk alongside you down your preferred path, simply helping with forks in the road. I earned my BA in Classics and South Asian Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. I have experience working with couples and families (including children from 5 to 25) and am looking forward to working with individuals as well. I’m so glad you’re here and look forward to being a partner in your healing!
