Fallon Stapleton
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I work with young adults of all identities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, difficulty with life transitions, or relationship conflict.
I am so glad you have decided to seek therapy! It is both brave and vulnerable, and the healing journey can be a transformative one if you are willing to engage in the process. I have both a direct and humorous style, and work to meet you exactly where you are in this moment. I use both CBT and DBT in my work with clients, and you and I will determine together what your goals for treatment need to be. As a practitioner of mindfulness, I approach therapy with non-judgment and curiosity, and I will teach you how to give yourself compassion for your struggles and the behaviors you may have developed in order to cope with life's stressors. I know the transition to college life can be challenging, and as a former high-achiever and perfectionist I know how hard it can be to hold ourselves to unrelenting standards! Be patient with yourself in therapy, it takes lots of practice to learn the skills you need to build a life worth living.
