Emily Reimer
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I enjoy working with young to middle-aged adults going through different phases in life. We can work together to discover what is meaningful for you.
Oscar Wilde said, "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people just exist." I enjoy working with young to middle-aged adults who are going through new phases in life, such as leaving home, moving, giving birth/adopting, facing the empty nest, or losing a loved one. There are many kinds of losses. With such changes, there can be uncertainty, causing a range of emotions. My specialty areas are anxiety, depression, perfectionism, international adoption, grief/loss, life transitions and trauma. Having some extra support to process through the emotions that come with life challenges can be a comfort. My hope is that you will discover what is meaningful and important to you through our time together, and you will learn to integrate these things into your life.
