As a person-centered therapist, my goal is to assist clients using an empathetic approach that empowers and motivates the client in the session.

Today you are one step closer to your authentic self by feeling empowered and discovering the positive path towards your growth and well-being. As a person-centered therapist, my goal is to assist clients using an empathetic approach that empowers and motivates the client in the therapeutic process. Each individual has the desire for personal growth and change. It is learning to recognize and trust human possibilities; providing clients with empathy and unconditional positive regard to help facilitate change. In therapy sessions, there will be support offered, guidance, and structure so the client can discover personalized solutions within themselves. I also offer Reiki sessions. An individual feels a peaceful sense of relaxation and well-being. The Reiki Session stimulates and supports the body's own self-healing process, and the energy goes on to work in an active way. Dena Augustine has been working in the counseling field since 2005. She is a licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Brain Injury Specialist and a Reiki Master. Ms. Augustine holds a Master of Arts degree from Moravian Theological Seminary, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Arcadia University. Ms. Augustine specializes in depression, anxiety, anger, stress management, bipolar, TBI, trauma, and spirituality.
