How brave of you! You're taking steps to improve your life! Yes, it's work but it can also be fun along the way. This is a journey you will not regret.

Are you passionate about your life? If not, how would you define a life worth living? The purpose of therapy is for you to more deeply discover who you are, what you want, and how to get it. You can absolutely learn the skills needed to better manage problematic thoughts and emotions, improve and deepen relationships, live more fully in the moment, and pursue your goals and dreams. You can discover how to grow your courage, and develop a more loving and compassionate relationship with yourself. I'm ardent about helping women learn to navigate beyond those painful internal messages saying we're not ____ enough (e.g., smart, attractive, thin, wealthy, educated, etc.). Unchecked, these messages keep us living small or drive us to try and earn our worthiness through actions and belongings. There IS hope! You can build a life worth living. You can learn to have more control of your thoughts and emotions. You can learn to move beyond the negative self-talk. You can rediscover your innate worthiness. Take the first step. The Daring Way™

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. This method is designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings. During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
