Christopher Moutenot-Small
(He/Him/His)
Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)
With warmth and kindness, and an integrated mind/body/relationship approach, I help people to live and love with greater pleasure, creativity, and ease.
In my work with people of all ages, I use an integrated mind-body-relationship approach to address challenges related to trauma, attachment, transitions and disruptions, stage of life issues, depression, anxiety, and issues involving sexuality, identity, purpose, and meaning. I specialize in working with people who experience difficulties in intimate relationships, particularly in their roles as partners and parents. I also enjoy supporting teenagers, college students, and young adults as they navigate the challenges of growing into new phases of life. I am a licensed psychotherapist with more than a decade of experience working with adults, teenagers, and families in a wide variety of settings. I hold a Masters degree in Counseling from the Somatic Psychology program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and I have specialized training in a variety of mind-body, trauma-focused, and attachment-oriented approaches that inform and guide my work. I am knowledgeable about and experienced with LGBTQIA issues, and I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds around issues related to multicultural challenges and social justice.
