Christine Pavey
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Christine believes that the foundation of therapeutic treatment is a safe and supportive relationship between therapist and client.
As a psychodynamic and attachment oriented therapist, Christine believes that the foundation of therapeutic treatment is a safe and supportive relationship between therapist and client. The process of treatment often uses the therapeutic relationship itself to uncover relational patterns from earlier in life that may be causing pain or dysfunction in the present day. By identifying the historical antecedent to a seemingly confusing or inappropriate emotional response, client and therapist are able to disrupt maladaptive patterns and choose new, more values congruent responses. Christine finds joy in her horses, her dog, family, friends, food, and the woods.
