My approach is humanistic and relational, which means therapy is customized by individual needs, strengths, and challenges. I compliment this with the use of evidenced-based modalities, such as DBT. I believe self-transformation occurs through awareness, acceptance, and connection. Skill development and application is integral to this process. I am a Charlottesville native and have an appreciation for nature-related activities, food and the arts, and a small-town-feel. In my spare time I enjoy outdoor sports, reading, gardening, cooking, and being with our friends, family, and pets.
