Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
There is nothing that brings me more joy than instilling hope and witnessing the magic of others overcoming difficult circumstances.
There are many inherent challenge that come along with being an adolescent and young adult. Whether is navigating changing friendships, starting college, moving away from home, dealing with the pain of a breakup, starting a job, or figuring out who you want to be in this world, your "teens" and twenties are both a beautiful and chaotic time of change, growth, and self discovery. I seek to support individuals as they face life's transitions and encourage them to press into these challenges in hopes that they become more confident and resilient. Life's challenges are inevitable, so I support clients in holding joy amidst their pain. I use strengths-based approaches to help young people craft their own narratives, explore their values and beliefs, and build self confidence. Whether it's talking about the latest sports game or TikTok trend, I take genuine interest into the passions of young people to make sure that my interventions are fun and relatable. There is nothing that brings me more joy than instilling hope and witnessing the magic of others overcoming difficult circumstances. It is my prayer that my clients can heal from their trauma, challenge unhelpful behaviors and thought patterns, and grow in self confidence within a warm, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship.
