Brynn Mays

I have been working in the mental health field since 2020. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and my Master's degree from Indiana University. My personal experiences profoundly influenced my decision to pursue a career in mental healthcare; having been in the client's chair myself, I understand the profound impact that a positive therapeutic experience can have on one's life. I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. My therapeutic approach integrates a variety of modalities, including EMDR, DBT, CBT, MI, and ACT. I believe in a collaborative, client-centered approach, involving clients in selecting the most effective treatment methods. Regular feedback from my clients is an integral part of my practice, as it helps me refine our approach and ensures we’re working together to achieve their goals. I customize my treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual.
