I believe in person-centered therapy, meaning you are in charge of the process while I guide and support you. I welcome individuals of all identities.

I specialize in using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help manage big emotions and change unhelpful patterns and behaviors. Dialectical work challenges us to understand seemingly opposing thoughts and feelings. In DBT, we focus on building Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation, and Distress Tolerance skills to help achieve our goals. In sessions, I incorporate various modalities including somatic practices that draw on mind-body connection, such as breathwork and grounding techniques, to assist in managing effects of stress and trauma. In addition to my other training, I am a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) with experience supporting individuals and their families through the challenges of substance use and addiction. I enjoy working with people of all ages, as well as couples and families. In our sessions, our initial focus will be on creating an environment that is safe, understanding, and free from judgment. We will work to find the balance between acceptance and change in our life, and we will explore the role emotions play. Through our work together, you can live the life you want to live - whatever that may look like for you.
