Amanda Owen
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I look forward to exploring what makes you YOU as you continue preparing for entering into the "real world".
Hi there! I'm looking forward to meeting you. The letters behind my name (LMFT) stand for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Basically, that's a fancy way of saying I like to look at things with a systemic approach, or the full picture. I know everyone has a story and everyone comes from a family that has helped to mold and shape who we are and how we think. I believe exploring who we are and where we come from helps us to understand where we are currently and where we are headed. I have a background in working with individuals, families, and couples. Additionally, I have experience in working with culturally diverse clients. Before coming to private practice, I worked a lot with middle schoolers and high schoolers. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. Let's have a chat!
