Amanda Lorenz, PhD
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
My goal is to be a collaborative partner with clients of all identities seeking to make positive changes in their lives.
Specializing in trauma, addictions, depression, and anxiety, I hope to help you successfully navigate life's journeys. Together we will work through uncertainty, confusion, and feeling "in between" life's roles, developing goals and selecting effective treatments to help you achieve these goals. In addition, I offer couples and family therapy to strengthen my client's relationships. Finally, I provide supervision, training, and therapy for health care providers. From over 20 years of training, teaching, and practice, I have developed a holistic view of my clients integrating a psychodynamic / developmental perspective with other evidence based interventions such as CBT, CPT, EMDR, DBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Relapse Prevention in order to best support my clients in their therapy journey. I believe and am committed to making mental health care accessible. Accordingly, I offer teletherapy services in over 30 states and am paneled with many insurance panels. Please visit my website to learn more about the type of therapy I do and and to make an appointment. I look forward to talking with you soon!
