Amanda (Kaelynn) Buchanan
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I am excited to be a part of your journey to becoming you best self and creating a more satisfying life.
I am passionate about helping individuals work through difficult life transitions and overcoming challenging pasts. My goal is to empower clients through the development of skills to improve emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and life satisfaction. I provide psychotherapy focused on unresolved core issues that lead to difficulties in one's life. Using a combination of EMDR Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness I help teens and adults explore their internal experiences and find emotional healing and stability. My wholistic approach allows me to understand the bigger picture. As I identify my clients strengths, challenges, and patterns that are having an impact, I am able to cater my approach beyond the presenting problem and help my clients transform their lives in meaningful ways. Whatever your challenge or life story may be, I would love to be a part of your journey to becoming your best self. I can't wait to get to know you in my in-person or virtual office. I am excited to work with you to create goals and personalize the therapeutic approach to best meet your needs.
