Getting in touch with your emotional self can feel overwhelming and scary. As your therapist, I will create a safe and supportive space for you to engage deeper with your thoughts and emotions. It is crucial to acknowledge the significant role that social, cultural, and environmental factors play in our overall health and ability to cope with stress. My approach combines elements of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy. My immigrant family background shapes my clinical lens and allows me to understand the complex cultural and family dynamics that affect our health and our ability to feel comfortable asking for help. Our work together will develop effective ways of coping with life’s various stressors, strengthen your relationships, and transform your thinking so that you are no longer your harshest critic. We will work collaboratively to develop a treatment
