Alexandra (Brye) Patton
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I see clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma/PTSD; I am EMDR trained. I can integrate Christian faith (as desired).
My journey with mental health began in college when I struggled with perfectionism, depression, and anxiety. I saw the value of therapy, which played a huge role in who I am today and why I became a therapist. Because of my own therapy experience, I can empathize with your struggles and enjoy working with college students. My approach is trauma-informed, as I have been trained in various trauma therapies, including EMDR. I also draw from CBT and DBT. My approach is holistic, focusing on the mental, emotional, behavioral, physical, relational, and spiritual parts of my clients. While my practice specializes in Christian counseling, I see clients from various backgrounds as well. I enjoy providing a safe, therapeutic environment for clients wanting to incorporate Christian faith into their therapy experience.
