Addyson (Addie) Stipp
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I welcome all diverse backgrounds and provide a nonjudgmental space where clients can fully be themselves!
My passion is working with teens & young adults, & most of my clientele is around 15-30. Clients have noted that my relaxed personality sprinkled with humor helps them feel comfortable right away. I provide a nonjudgmental space where clients can fully be themselves, embracing their race/sexuality/identity/beliefs. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance so I prioritize making sure clients feel accepted & understood. I empower people to make their own changes at a pace they are comfortable with, while challenging them to utilize the skills they've learned in therapy outside of sessions - After all, I believe the ultimate goal of therapy is to get out of therapy! I treat trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I have experience helping teens & adults work through trauma via EMDR & TFCBT, & working with teens involved in the criminal justice system. In my spare time… I’m a crazy dog & cat mom! I enjoy baking but my guilty pleasure is napping between binge watching reality tv & true crime. When I get bored with being a couch potato you can find me at concerts/music festivals & traveling. For me, those are the best ways to boost dopamine!
