Abriana Woods
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I invite you to embark on a profound journey of self-discovery, relational insight, and an empowered you.
Do you ever feel like “I am not good enough,”or “I'm stuck” or other unhelpful beliefs about yourself even though you logically know they AREN'T true? This suffering can manifest in various ways, including feelings of overwhelm, loneliness, intrusive thoughts, and difficulty in relationships. Many of my clients describe a sense of being stuck, unable to move past painful experiences or to fully engage in life. Healing is not just about alleviating symptoms; it’s about reclaiming one’s narrative, newfound resilience, improved self-esteem, and healthier coping mechanisms. I utilize an integrative approach; I use EMDR to help clients process unresolved painful experiences and emotional distress, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and psychodynamic therapy to explore the impact of past experiences on current behaviors. This integrated approach allows for deeper healing and lasting change. “...most human suffering is related to love and loss and that the job of therapists is to help people “acknowledge, experience, and bear” the reality of life—with all its pleasures and heartbreak.” When you are When you are ready; I invite you to email me and connect.
