Aaron Boggs
(He/Him/His)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Providing psychotherapy by appointment to adults with anxiety, depression, OCD, and relationship concerns.
Hi, I'm Aaron. Here's the dirt first. I have been fired from jobs, punched walls in frustration, and watched meaningful relationships crumble to pieces. I have been separated, divorced, and now happily remarried. My actions have at times directly affected the lives of people that I love. I have been frustrated with people in my life to the degree that I stopped talking to them. And I have been so depressed and anxious that I couldn’t even move, and I felt like it would never end. Hopefully that gives you a sense of whether I can relate to your circumstances. I primarily use an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, but also employ techniques from psychodynamic, attachment, and existential theories. My main goal is to make you comfortable and create a space where we can address your primary concerns together. I enjoy working with men experiencing a variety of relationship and existential concerns. Another area of interest is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for which I have done several additional trainings. When I'm not working, I'm usually spending time with my 3 high school age children and wife. I also exercise a lot - hiking, running, and going to the gym.
