Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I am a queer therapist with a passion for empowering individuals by meeting them where they are and holding space during sessions.
Hi! My name is Victoria (she/they) and I am a queer therapist at Love Psychotherapy here in Madison. Within my practice, I have a passion for uplifting and empowering individuals by meeting them where they are and holding space for them during our sessions. This includes providing a trauma-informed and identity-affirming environment within the therapeutic space. Fun fact: I am also a birth doula, which I believe positively impacts my approach, particularly with perinatal clients! My approach is eclectic in nature, as every person is unique. I typically draw from CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, ACT, and IFS. Motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and guided meditations are utilized as well. I have experience within maternal/perinatal mental health, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, anxiety disorders, trauma, and relationship & sex therapy. As your therapist, it is my goal to create a collaborative and safe environment to share and feel empowered. Please don't hesitate to reach out and schedule an initial session! I look forward to hearing from you.
