My name is Tia Morris, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) here at The Therapy Office. I am trained in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), TA (Technology Assisted Counseling), and begin training in CPT (Cognitive Progressing Therapy). I bet your eyes glazed over just a little. I am direct, blunt, sarcastic, love to laugh, and CANNNOT sugar coat anything to save my life. Sure, I could use B-I-G therapy words that neither of us knows how to pronounce let alone spell, but I believe in helping clients understand these B-I-G words by applying these big words/concepts to real world situations. I don’t know everything and don’t pretend to. I realize I’m not going to be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay. If I’m not, let’s find you someone who is.
