I’m a board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, with over 25 years of experience in nursing focused on public health and psychiatry/mental health. I believe that mental health should be first health, and recognize the indispensable link between mental and physical health. My approach is holistic, acknowledging the potential benefits of medication while also understanding that medication is just one facet of a comprehensive toolkit for promoting mental health. Along with the work you do in therapy, we’ll also explore how nutrition, sleep, and physical activity may be affecting how you feel. Any recommendations I make will be supported by current research. My aim is for us to collaborate in empowering you to make well-informed decisions regarding your overall health and well-being. I look forward to meeting you.
