Sydel Fisher
(She/Her/Hers)
Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)
Welcome! I’m Sydel Fisher, and I’m so excited to get to know you and stand with you as you grow towards your hopes and dreams.
Being human can be full of chaos, and sometimes we all get lost in life. Maybe you have big dreams, but struggle to get started, or maybe you’ve lost sight of the important things after being overwhelmed by stress. Perhaps your once-loving relationship is distant or conflictual, and you need help to stop the cycle of hurt. Therapy is a healthy way to explore your inner world and restore your inner strength. For those that find the courage to begin therapy, and the trust to stick with it, therapy can be a wonderful gift. Welcome! I’m here to help you find harmony in your relationships and your life. If you work with me, you can expect me to meet you where you are and walk with you through the challenge of growth and discovery. One of my “first loves” was personality psychology, so I love to spend time getting to know people and learning the influences that made them who they are. I use a systemic and strengths-based approach to offer understanding, hope & compassion to clients. Therapy is not always pleasant: sometimes we have to get to know the darkness in our lives to overcome it. To maintain a safe space for vulnerability, I cultivate an environment of empathy, creativity, & humor. I integrate several models to fit the client, including Internal Family Systems, Gottman Method, & Emotion Focused Therapy. I’m passionate about preventative therapy such as premarital, or any other life transitions that create an opportunity for change!
