Susan Strickland

I am a psychotherapist and music therapist. Although much of my work involves the traditional verbal interaction, I also use music, play, drawing, and storywriting as appropriate and acceptable to the situation and the client(s). Clients do not need any special talent to benefit from these other media. My targeted training in music therapy, individual psychotherapy, and couple and family therapy has given me a combination of skills that is rare in the therapeutic community. These skills have been enhanced through my clinical work in a variety settings, ranging from mental health hospitals to outpatient clinics.
