Hello, my name is Susan Costello. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is compassionate about providing the very best care for my patients. I have worked in healthcare since 1996, caring for developmentally disabled children and adults. In 2002 I became a Registered Nurse and worked in the medical setting of a hospital until 2012, when I moved to the psychiatric unit. I have worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2024. I love the outpatient setting, where I get to build relationships with my patients and work with each patient on an individualized plan of care. I believe in listening to my patients and think it is important to work together as we endeavor on the journey for the patient’s health. I believe in providing holistic care to my patients. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, exercising, spending time outdoors, traveling, and gardening. I am in the U.S. Army Reserves. I love spending time with my two dogs and family and friends. I am passionate about caring for patients with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, ADHD, and Substance Use Disorder. I treat patients age 18 and older.
