Stacey Rowland
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I enjoy working with the young adult population who may be suffering with depression, anxiety, or healing from past trauma.
I utilize EMDR as well as other trauma-focused modalities in my work with clients. I believe that therapy should be collaborative, and that you are the expert in your own life. Combined with my experience, we can work together to help you live the life you've always wanted! If you’re struggling with relationships or emotional regulation, or having trouble “adulting”, I’d love to help! Anxiety Life stressors can become overwhelming! We often find ourselves overstimulated, fatigued, or full of racing negative thoughts. Anxiety management is a central focus of my work. Depression Mood instability comes in many forms, and has many causes. We work from the inside out, to explore root causes, and establish and maintain effective coping strategies to improve mood and functioning. PTSD Our past experiences can inform our current behaviors, feelings, and beliefs. Often times our traumatic experiences linger in our bodies and affect our responses to stressors, and interfere with our functioning. I use a trauma focused approach, along with evidence based trauma modalities (such as EMDR) to help desensitize and reprogram our traumatic, stressful memories.
