Hi :) I look forward to sitting with you to explore and prioritize your authentic self. This is a space for unburdening, especially for BIPOC folks.
More than ever it’s important to be heard and heal. For minorities, the intersection of mental health, oppression, and collective trauma need a safer space to unburden. Anyone who wants to know more about their anxious thoughts, identity, self care, career stress, mood, sleep, health stress, life transitions, coping, loss, procrastination, relationships, “bad side” of self, motivation, burn out, safety, and family dynamics is welcome. I value continued education and always strive to provide proven approaches to the concerns you hold closest to your heart and wellbeing. My career has been colored with unique settings and experiences like an emergency room, non-profit, college counseling center and private practice. When a client is ready to make lasting change in their life, we work together to affirm and accept their reality, identify areas of growth, celebrate progress, and validate their experience & feelings throughout. As a black, mother, female identifying, queer, child of immigrant parents, and wife I feel grateful to be able to relate to many and empathize with most.
