Shannon Patterson
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I am a weight-inclusive, LGBTQIA2S+ affirming psychologist who is passionate about helping people navigate eating and body image challenges.
I believe that our thoughts, emotions and behaviors are interconnected. With humor and compassion, I strive to help my clients approach their concerns with curiosity while also attending to the cultural and systemic factors that are impacting their lives. My approach to therapy is to help people develop strategies and tools "in the here and now" to cope with concerns and improve their quality of life. I collaborate with each individual to find the therapeutic approach that works for them, and aim to demystify the therapy process.
