Looking for a voice that is louder than your self doubt and a "bad influence" to help you be your authentic self? I got you. Let's talk!
Adulting is hard. And sometimes it is lonely, stressful, and confusing. You don't have to do it alone, though! I have a PhD in Counseling Psychology and 10 years experience working with the young adult population including working in numerous college counseling centers. In sessions, we can talk about family dynamics, romantic relationships, sexual identity, major/career selection, money management, confidence, & overall emotional health. There isn't a topic you could bring up in counseling that would make me uncomfortable or surprise me, so please feel free to bring ALL of you to session! I have found that the best way I can serve clients is with an active and direct counseling style. We will talk about past experiences and how they have shaped you, but then we will focus on where you would like to go and develop a plan on how to get there. (This very well may be by processing through some of your past stuff!) I will support and encourage you, but I will also thoughtfully challenge you so you can ultimately reach the goals you set for yourself and be brave enough to shine!
